Before you begin:
  • Here are some tips on finding your IMEI:
    • Dial *#06#. If it works, your IMEI will pop up.
    • If that doesn't work, check the SIM card tray or the original box for the number.
    NOTE:
    • This tool doesn't tell you if your phone is unlocked.
    • Keep in mind that some iPhone applications such as FaceTime and iMessage may
      require a plan with text messaging in order to work.
    Make sure your phone works on the Public Mobile network. Click here to see if your phone is compatible.
  • Have your Public Mobile SIM card in hand.
  • Get your payment ready. We accept the following credit cards, registered to a Canadian address: VISA, MasterCard and American Express. We also accept VISA debit cards and Public Mobile Payment Vouchers.
  • Check out publicmobile.ca/plans and decide on the plan and Add-Ons you'd like to buy.

  • It cannot be similar to your user name, email or security question or answer.
  • Easy to remember, but difficult for others to guess.
After you activate, register for the Community using the same email address as you did for your Public Mobile Self Serve account. If you use a different email address, you will not be able to earn the Community Reward.
